Michael Doi has medium-length brown hair and black eyes. He wears a gold earring on his left ear and has chest hairs which is more thicker than Hiro's.
He wears a bedazzled cyan mini-jacket with a red, orange and yellow feathered design on each sides of his jacket with an equally dazzling magenta collar. Underneath that, he wears a white sleeveless male ballet suit and matching ballet shoes.
In his alternate appearance, his bedazzled mini-jacket is bright red while retaining its dazzling magenta collar and the color pallete of the feathered design were switched backwards with light yellow, yellow orange and red and his ballet suit and ballet shoes were black.
In Kitty-N's epilogue in Bust A Move 2, where he drops the picture after he taught her to dance, he was seen wearing a red speedo.
